PAN IIT INDIA JAPAN CONVENTION
PAN IIT INDIA JAPAN CONVENTION
PAN IIT INDIA JAPAN CONVENTION

You are cordially invited to “India-Japan Convention – Progressing on Sustainable Partnership” conference organized by Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Alumni in Japan.

The first major and international Pan IIT Japan conference in earlier India Japan Friendship Year of 2007 http://www.iitjapan.org/ successfully untapped the hidden potentials in a wide range of areas across the academics, business and socio-politics in India-Japan. The Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project announcement, the NHK India Special on IITs and new IIT (IIT Hyderabad Project) in Japanese collaboration are some of the major outcomes of far reaching implications of the conference.

The present conference is an effort to keep up the momentum on the 10-year anniversary of the mega event. With a new momentum to further promote and facilitate the mutual collaboration in public and private sector with a special focus on Railways and Smart Cities we are delighted to announce Pan IIT India Japan Convention 2017 in collaboration with MTIJ (Mass Trans Innovation Japan, http://www.mtij.jp/english/).

Bringing strategic partners together on the new momentum, this is a collaborative effort in partnership with and strong support from Indian Embassy, JICA (Japan International Corporation Agency), JETRO(Japan External Trade Organization), Japan-India Association. Our diverse panelists hail from renowned industry partners in japan such as JR East, Toshiba Co. and Shimizu Corporation and key institutions from India such as Indian Railways, IIT Kanpur and IIM Bangalore.

In an interactive atmosphere of speeches, panel discussions, and cocktail dinners with media coverage, the conference offers excellent opportunities for connecting with leaders from a wide spectrum of international perspectives and global image building. Please refer to the Program and Registration pages for details, inviting all interested parties.

Sanjeev Sinha,
President, IIT Alumni Association, Japan
